Bruce previously worked at Whirlpool for 15 years. He wanted to venture out and use his knowledge and abilities for something else, so Bruce and Pam decided to purchase an existing sign business called Signs and Logos. For the last 21 years they have worked side by side making different types of signs, graphics, t-shirts, etc. for many great customers, whom most have become good friends or even like family. Bruce also enjoyed his hobby of collecting Hot Wheels, old toys and Comic items, so he opened up This-N-That Comics and Collectibles where he got to tell all of this customers that he was “BATMAN” because his name was BRUCE.
Throughout the years, many people considered Bruce, Pam and Mason their second family. Their home became a go to hangout place for lots of good time playing Mario Kart, music, watching movies, sitting outside on the bench eating Tubby’s pizza. So many kids lookup to Bruce as a father figure and they all loved and trusted him. He inherited the name “BOSS MAN” and will forever be known as such to many. Bruce was a musician playing the drums and played with the family in a traveling gospel band.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Woods located at 1775 Marion Waldo Rd. Marion, OH on Fri. June 23, 2023 beginning at 6:00PM. Feel free to come as you please. Bruce was a simple casual guy, so please dress casual or even bring out your old Batman shirts!!
