Bruce Beers age 77, of Marion died on Friday February 17, 2017. He was born January 12, 1940 in Marion to Harold and Flossie (Kennedy) Beers. He married Virginia Howard and she preceded him in death in 2012.
Mr. Beers is survived by a daughter Karen Beers, Mt. Gilead, son Kevin Beers, Waldo, three grandchildren Bo (Krista) Smith, Blair (Nick) Rowland, Bayley Beers, four great grandchildren Carson and Chase Smith, Sable and Saul Rowland, brother Floyd Beers, two sisters Twila Loyer, Gwen Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Marvin Beers, and sister Amy Carrol.
Mr. Beers served in the Army National Guard. He was a farmer and a truck driver for Signal Delivery, Marion.
A visitation in honor of Bruce Beers will be held Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 5pm-7pm at the American Legion 367 W. Main St. Waldo, OH 43356. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the Donor's Choice. Affordable Cremation Services Of Ohio assisted the family with the arrangements.
