Billy Ray Putman II

Billy Ray Putman II, age 40 of Marion, Ohio passed away Dec. 13, 2022, at Marion General Hospital. He was born Oct. 28, 1982, to Jeannie Putman and the late Billy Ray Putman in Columbus, Ohio, and was married to Diana Putman.

Billy is survived by: his mother, his wife, 2 sisters Valery (Paul Sr.) Fugett from Mansfield and Vundea (Andy Rowe) Putman from Marion, Aunt Lynnie Jones, Uncle Davy Jones, Aunt Louise & (Ralph) Bond, Tommy & (Kay) Putman, Alvie & (Mary) Putman, Ruth Ann (Gerald) Cline, cousin Mary Peck, nieces/nephews: Tyler Fugett, Robert (Anna Hartz) Fugett, Justin Fugett, Emily Fugett, Lealand Putman, Matty Rowe, Zoe Rowe, Paul Fugett Jr., Alexis (Mike) Bautista, Maria Fugett, Paris Fugett, Megan Large, great-nephews Dominic Fugett Bautista and Liam Mulkey, special cousin Mitchell (Sierra) Cole, special friend Mary Crowe, several other cousin and friends, best friend Chrissy Volpe & Trudy. He was preceded in death by his father and a special dog named Piglet, aunt Lisa Jones , and grandparents of both sides, special friend Ricky Petty.

Billy worked at Edge Plastics and was a manager at Ollie’s, both in Mansfield. Writing and music were strong passions of his. Billy performed a song on the TV show Star Search.
