Bernard E. (Gene) Parr

Bernard E. “Gene” Parr age 81, of Marion died at Heartland of Bucyrus on Fri. Feb. 17, 2017.
On Sept. 30, 1935 he was born in Lakeview to the late Bernard W. and Virginia D. (Nelson) Parr. He married Janet Marie Frost on June 10, 1962, she preceded him in death on Mar. 16, 2007. Surviving is a daughter Jennifer Parr-Fetter, Morral, grandchildren Wyatt Fetter, Marion and Maycee Fetter, Morral. Mr. Parr was preceded in death by a sister Constance Griffin.
Mr. Parr was a Veteran of the United States Army. He had worked at Tecumseh Products, Marion, and retired from Kable Fulfillment, and then worked at Marion General Hospital. Mr. Parr enjoyed working on classic cars, going to car shows, reading and spending time with his family.
Private services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio.
