Audrey J. Anspach

Audrey Jeanne (Kennedy) Anspach, age 87, of Chesterville (formerly Mount Gilead), passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, following a lengthy illness.

Audrey was born September 2, 1933, Kenton Ohio, to the late Harold Oscar and Marcina (Walkins) Kennedy.

Audrey married Walter D. “Red” Anspach on December 24, 1979. Together they spent 36 wonderful years until he passed on January 28, 2016.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister Linda Buchanan.

She was a lifetime member of the Edison United Methodist Church where she was best known for her famous potato salad.

Audrey is survived by her children, Rick (Susan) Bailey and Charisse (Tony) Smith; five grandchildren, Brook (Ashley) Bailey, Cassandra (Travis Williams) Bailey, Breck (Ashley) Bailey, Justin Haas and Hunter (Caitlin) Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Robert and Donald Kennedy; sister Kathie (Richard) Hack and many nieces and nephews.

Although no services will be held per her wishes, her family hopes you will hold her in your hearts as you remember her in your own special way.

The family would like to thank the staff of Morrow Manor Nursing Center for the wonderful care they provided for Audrey and the staff at Affordable Cremation & Funeral Services of Ohio for the compassion and help during this time of loss.
