Arthur William Brown

Arthur William Brown, age 81, passed away at Embassy of Marion July 25, 2024. Art was born to the late Thelma “Brown” Umbrell December 10, 1942, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Arthur married Ruth (Denzer) Brown on May 18, 2001. Art was preceded in death by his mother and stepson, Neil Hildebrand.

Arthur is survived by wife of 23 years Ruth Brown; daughter, Amanda Lynn; stepchildren, Kristine Jackson and Joey Hildebrand; brother, Mike Umbrell; sister, Rose Cane; as well as numerous grandchildren.

Arthur was an Air Force Veteran. He worked at Silverline Glass of Marion as well as having his own electronic repair shop in Marion. He was a big OSU Buckeyes fan and Tennessee Titans football fan and was a football player in his younger years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and anything outdoors. He was a member of the Marion VFW and Commander for the Marion, OH American Legion Post 602.
