Alice J. Sparling age 58 of Marion, died at her residence on June 16, 2023. She was born Dec. 3, 1964 in Marion to the late Clarence Thompson and Dexie Lewis. She married David Sparling on July 7, 1988, he preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2011. Surviving are her children Jessica (Greg) Gullett, David (Arlene) Rigsby, Jamie (Daryl) McKenzie, KCee (Doug) Tillman, grandchildren Dairian, Ashton, Gregory, Aaron, Daniel, Nicolie, Ariana, Nathaniel, Dougie, Ethan, Kayleigh and Dalton, a brother Tim (Vicki) Thompson and a sister Charlene (Dennis) Thompson. She is preceded in death by brothers Clarence Eugene and Michael.

She was graduate of Marion Harding High School and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.

Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to music and crocheting.
