Ronald Joseph Riser

Ronald Joseph Riser Sr., age 70 from Marion, Ohio passed away Oct. 28, 2022, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio. He was born July 28, 1952, to the late Donald W Riser and Emma Headley Riser in Bellaire, Ohio. Ronald married Diana Lynn Prystasz Riser July 5, 2003, and had been together for 38 years.
Ronald is survived by his wife Diana Lynn Riser, a son Ronald J (Jamie) Riser Jr., and 3 granddaughters: Alexis Riser, Emma Riser, and Audrey Riser. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Over the years, Ronald worked as a coal miner, a bar owner, a car salesman, a fleet mechanic, and delivery driver for Matthews Ford. He was a member of: Flywheels Classic Car Club, the NHRA, and the Sons of the American Legion.
Ronald loved to watch High School Football, was an Ohio State Buckeye fan, rooted for the Pittsburgh Steelers, thoroughly enjoyed Classic Cars/Drag Racing, and loved riding motorcycles. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Dec. 18, 2022, from 2-4 pm at Dry Lane Construction, 376 Dry Lane Rd. S LaRue, Ohio 43332.
Memorial donations can be made in Ronald’s honor to Safety City, 236 N Main St. Marion, Ohio 43302. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio was proud to assist in the arrangements for Ronald and his family.
